International cooperation

PMU members participated in abroad study tours and international conferences, accepted foreign delegates and consulted Russian participants of the Meetings of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol.

Participation in the business trip of the Russian delegation of representatives of the refrigeration sector and airports to Geneva and Zurich to visit the exhibition dedicated to airport equipment and participate in working meetings with DuPont and Honeywell representatives was taken. The delegation was established in pursuance of order of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation on chemical security and proliferation of natural refrigerants. During the business trip, the concept of the demo-project on implementation of natural refrigerants was formulated and discussed, and arrangements on cooperation with enterprises in ODS phase-out were reached.

Participation in the working meeting with the Turkmenian Ozone Unit in Ashgabat on 10–13.06.2013, when the Russian delegation shared its experience in the Project implementation and exhaustively covered issues related to practical aspects of transition from ozone-depleting substances to natural refrigerants, creation of centers of excellence for technicians related to air-conditioning and refrigeration sector and spoke about organization of all-Russian competition “Protect the Ozone Layer and Earth Climate”.

The Turkmenian Ozone Office and PMU developed the joint workshop and held it in Ashgabat on 21–22.11.2013.

The UNIDO Head-quarter placed the exhibition of winners of all-Russian competition “Protect the Ozone Layer and Earth Climate” in Vienna in December 2013.

International cooperation

Participation in international workshop “Scientific and Technical Information, Statistics and Information: National Experience and International Interaction” held as part of Techmart 2015 was taken. There, the Project was presented to representatives of developing and transition economies (Hanoi, Viet Nam, 02.10.2015).

Training centers established as part of the Project operate successfully and train technicians not only from Russia, but also from Armenia and Somalia, and share experience with Armenian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Moldavian, Tajikistan, Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and Turkmenistan professionals.
