UNIDO experts took part in the children’s environmental holiday

On May 11, at Moscow school No. 433, children’s environmental holiday party “World Environment Day. Bird Day” organized by the school heads and the District Tutorial Center of the Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow took place.

At the holiday, there were presented 4 nominations of talented works by Moscow pupils; those were handicrafts, posters on environmental topics, and even complex theatrical performances.

At the event, the representatives of the UNIDO project for HCFC phase out showed film “The Antarctic Ozone Hole” and made up a quiz dedicated to the ozone layer protection and fulfillment by the Russian Federation of its international commitments. Children gave bright replies to the most tricky questions and took valuable prizes.

Also, at the holiday the project work competition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Montreal Protocol was announced which will take place in this September within the framework of celebration of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.
