Free online curriculum dedicated to changes to the Russian ozone legislation organized by UNIDO
November 13, 2014
In 2012–2014, considerable changes were made to the Russian legislation — including criminal and administrative — that regulates the protection of the ozone layer. Since 2015, legal entities and private entrepreneurs are obliged to account ozone depleting substances (ODS). New ODS-containing systems are prohibited for design and construction, and may be landfilled only after ODS recovery. In the coming year, ODS consumption is to be cut by 90%.
To inform you on past and future changes, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) drew up free distance learning curriculum “Regulation and technological aspects of cutting ODS consumption in the Russian Federation”. Upon successful graduation you will be given a personal certificate.
