UNEP’s Global Cooling Watch 2023: Keeping it Chill
The UNEP Global Cooling Watch 2023: Keeping it Chill Report assesses national policy and regulatory actions across all cooling sectors, based on a survey of 192 countries. It models the direct and indirect emissions from all cooling sectors globally, with 2022 as the baseline. The report recommends cooling policies to eliminate over 60% of all cooling-related emissions over business as usual in 2050 and up to 96% depending on rates of grid decarbonization.
