At this meeting Montreal Protocol parties will discuss the following issues, among other matters:

• 2014 quadrennial assessment reports of the Scientific Assessment Panel, the Environmental Effects Assessment Panel and the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel.
• 2015 progress report of the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel.
• Issues related to exemptions under Articles 2A–2I of the Montreal Protocol.
• Issues related to alternatives to ozone-depleting substances.
• Outcome of the intersessional informal discussions on the feasibility and ways of managing hydrofluorocarbons.
• Proposed amendments to the Montreal Protocol.
• Issues related to the phase-out of hydrochlorofluorocarbons.
• Measures to facilitate the monitoring of trade in hydrochlorofluorocarbons and substituting substances.
• Potential areas of focus for the assessment panels’ 2018 quadrennial reports.
